Bogota Henry Tours ("BHT", "we", "us" and "our") accepts reservations subject to the following conditions. Except when expressly indicated, these conditions only apply to the arrangements of the trip booked by the client with BHT and which BHT undertakes to do, lend or perform (as the case may be) as part of its contract with the client. 1. The contract

 

The contract is between BHT and the client ("the client" and "you" in these conditions), being a person traveling or attempting to travel on a tour operated by BHT, including any person that is added or replaced after the reservation We agree that Colombian law (and no other) will apply to your contract and any dispute, claim or any other matter of any kind that may arise between us (except as indicated below), that for any discrepancy, claim or other matter of any kind (or if any that involves personal injury or not) that arises between us, it must be treated by the courts of Colombia. Not any BHT employee who is not a director has the authority to vary or omit any of these terms. No promise of a discount or refund will be binding on us if they are not confirmed by a BHT director, in writing.

 

2. To guarantee your reservation

 

To guarantee a reservation, BHT must receive the payment of the minimum deposit of 15% of the total price of the tour (or a payment for greater value if this is expressly agreed between BHT and the client). A higher deposit will be required if any provider (s) requires additional payment at the time of reservation / before the due date of the pending payment. Sometimes, the total payment of a service may be necessary at the time of booking. The applicable deposit will be confirmed at the time of booking.

All customers who book with us (including any that are added or replaced at a later date), either by phone, through our website, by email or by any other means, will be deemed to have accepted the following Four conditions:

  • d) A reservation is accepted and becomes final only from the date BHT issues a confirmation invoice to the client making the reservation. It is at this point that a contract between BHT and the customer comes into existence. For reservations made through our website, BHT reserves the right to cancel or modify the conditions of the services and increase or decrease the agreed prices, without this implying the acceptance of the changes by the client. The client will have the right to accept or not the modifications and in case of not doing so, BHT will reimburse the amounts paid in full and immediately. 3. Tour payment

 

The payment of all outstanding values, including applicable surcharges at that time, must be received by BHT before the start of your tour. The payment of outstanding securities must be made in cash, US dollars or Colombian pesos at the official exchange rate (TRM) at the date of service. 4. If you change your reservation

6. If you have a complaint

7. Passports, visas and vaccines

8. Travel and safe cancellation

 

Travel insurance is mandatory for all clients on a trip organized by BHT. Clients along with their personal assets including their luggage at all times exclusively at their own risk. Clients are fully responsible for the organization of their own insurance. Customers must ensure that their travel insurance does not have exclusion clauses to limit or exclude protection for the type of activities included in our tour. Customers should check that all travel insurance that they purchase meets their particular needs and must purchase supplementary insurance if necessary. 

It is highly recommended that full travel insurance includes coverage against cancellation fees. Depending on the reason for the cancellation, you may be able to recover the cancellation fees (less any applicable excess) under the terms of the insurance policy. 9. Participation in the tour and responsibility of the client

 

The client agrees to accept the authority and decisions of the BHT employees and tourism managers, while on tour with us. 10. If we change your tour

 

While BHT will do everything possible to operate all tours as advertised, reserves the right to modify and correct errors in any of the facilities, services, prices or itineraries described in our brochures and / or website at any time before or after your reservation is confirmed. 12. Force majeure

13. Our responsibility for your tour

  • 1. We promise that the travel arrangements we make for our clients as part of the operation of the services requested by you, are made with reasonable skill and care.
